LV= County Championship Breakthrough Player Award voting

Two more young cricketers have been chosen as wildcard picks and will join our six other young stars on the shortlist for the 2015 LV= Breakthrough Player Award. They've caught the attention of both professionals and pundits with their stellar performances in the LV= County Championship season so far and are all in the running to win the award.

Broken Through - Joe Root

In our latest Broken Through film, we explore the career of Yorkshire and England cricketer Joe Root; from the first time he held a cricket bat (the day after he was born!) to his selection for England in 2012, the same season he received the LV= County Championship Breakthrough Player Award.

LV= Young Player of the Year Award

The Rugby Players Association (RPA) Players' Awards 2015 took place on Wednesday 13 May at Battersea Evolution in London, and the winner of the LV= Young Player of the Year Award was revealed.
